The Fantasy Football off-season is upon us, and we here at F6P have got your back. Join us in the following weeks as we go through the NFL bringing you team by team fantasy previews. Today's edition: 2023 Fantasy Football Buffalo Bills Preview.

The back-to-back AFC East Champs are back and still loaded at all the skill positions to make another run at the Lombardi trophy. Not only will they be good in real life, but they also will be a team that Fantasy managers will count on to help their Fantasy teams win.

In 2023, the Bills' offense was second in points per game (28.4), second in total yards per game (397.6), and fourth in total points (455). They return the core of their offense in Josh Allen, Gabe Davis , Stefon Diggs, James Cook and added more firepower in first round pick Dalton Kincaid and free agent signings Deonte Harty and Trent Sherfield.

The Bills statistically should remain among the best offenses in the game despite switching offensive coordinators. Ken Dorsey, now has a full year under his belt and returns with a full arsenal at his disposal.

Josh Allen—need I say more?

Regardless of the format of your league, Josh Allen should be the first quarterback off the board or at worst in the conversation to be. Allen is coming off back to back season of at least 35 passing TDs and six rushing TDs. In 2021 he ran for a career high 763 yards while throwing for 4,407. He could work on keeping his INTs down a bit, but that is nitpicking.

The Bills did nothing but add weapons for Allen in the offseason, so there is no reason to believe that his numbers will decrease.

The sole downfall of Allen is that he will go early in leagues, especially in super-flex leagues. If you really want to own him, you may have to take him a round or two earlier then you normally would take a QB.

I have James Cook projected as a borderline RB1.

That was with trying to be conservative and pulling back on his efficiency.

It has to be said that no matter which RB you own from the Bills be aware that Josh Allen will still carry the ball a ton. He will get his own and is a threat to vulture touchdowns in the red zone.

In the second round of the 2022 draft, the Bills added a dynamic playmaker in James Cook. He is a weapon that the Bills will utilize all over the field, lining him up both in the backfield and as a wide receiver. He skill set is an ideal match for the Bills offense, and he proved that last year.

He's now the top dog in the backfield, and is easily a top-20 play this year. Set it and forget it.

Damien Harris will be a change-of-pace, short-yardage, oft-injured, and goal-line threat. James Cook is who matters here.

Stefon Diggs is the safest player to own out of this group, obviously. He has been an absolute stud since joining Bills and is showing no signs of slowing down. He has the trust of his quarterback and is one of Allen's favorite targets to throw to. Do not hesitate to pull the trigger on him early in PPR formats.

Let's talk about Gabe Davis. This is the guy out of the wide receiver room that has the biggest potential to take the leap into fantasy stardom. He is the clear cut number two on one of the best passing offense in that game and after the break out performance in the KC playoff game, he is the vertical threat the Bills want him to be.

With defenses keying in on Diggs and worrying about the legs of Allen, Davis will often times attract one on one coverage. From what we have seen so far from Davis, he is a handful for any one CB to contain.

Crowder, McKenzie, and Shakir are all in the same tier. It's too early to tell who will fill the Cole Beasley role and be impactful in the slot. Shakir, similar to Cook above has more value in a dynasty league. Crowder and McKenzie, unless one emerges over the other, may both end up being nothing more than bye week fill ins.

These two should really excite this year. Both are matchup problems for linebackers and can be a nightmare for smaller corners to cover. Knox is the TE to own overall. He had a mini breakout season last year having career highs in receptions (49), yards (587) and touchdowns (nine). If Knox can continue the momentum from last season, a jump into the upper echelon of tight ends is not out of the question.

Howard is more of a wait and see for me. I am not sure how the Bills will use him just yet. He has the skill set to line up outside and run a deep route but he also has flashed the ability to play the slot.

With the Knox's injury history, Howard is worth stashing at the end of your bench. If Knox goes down, Howard could become an every week starter for fantasy owners.

The Bills offense is going to extremely be fun again. They love to pass the ball all over the field and should produce multiple weekly fantasy starters for your team in any format.

As a whole, they are one of the best offenses in the game, and should put up a ton of points no matter the opponent. Draft everyone you can.
